Teacher Sarah guiding a young student at the grand piano

Our teaching philosophy

Serious about music. Joyful about learning.

Lessons are thoughtfully planned to build strong foundations, confident technique, musical understanding and expressive playing, in an environment children genuinely enjoy.

Strong foundations

Technique, posture, rhythm, sight-reading and listening skills, built carefully from the very first lesson.

Tailored to every child

No rigid lesson plans. Every lesson is shaped to the student's pace, personality and goals.

Confidence and joy

Our students learn to love performing. Music becomes something they look forward to, not something they're sent to.

Programmes

Two paths into music

From a child's very first musical steps to Diploma-level artistry, every programme is taught with the same care and standards.

We are incredibly grateful for Teacher Jovanna. She has a rare gift for making lessons engaging and fun, and we've watched our daughter's self-assurance blossom under her guidance. Our daughter has become so passionate and dedicated that she now diligently puts in her daily practice without being asked. She truly looks forward to her lesson every week, and it has been a wonderful experience seeing her develop such a genuine love for music. We couldn't ask for a better mentor.
James, Kate's Dad (10)
Teacher Jovanna has helped my son develop a genuine love for piano. She makes every lesson engaging and enjoyable, and he is always excited to learn and play. It is wonderful to see how he can now confidently memorise and perform his pieces. We are truly grateful for her dedication and inspiring teaching.
Xin Ee, Ian's Mum (9)
I am so grateful that Teacher Sarah is our piano teacher. Although she may be a bit strict, she still makes the lesson very enjoyable. Her patience, guidance and humor really makes me look forward to every lesson. In between our lessons sometimes, she also gives us some of her own life experiences, this makes the lesson more interesting. I am always keen to learn new things with Teacher Sarah. 😆
